IBrenton Griguol. In November 2006 Classic Adelaide will be on and www.koalacar.com.au will be sponsoring the Ferrari 360 Challenge. After the success of Team Koala Ferrari in 2005, the team decided to take on the might of the Europeans with the 360 Challenge car from the Pirelli Trofoe Series of 2000.
This partnership of Koala, FBR and CR will see this exciting vehicle in true Challenge livery as driven in the winning Nations Cup and World Pirelli Championship, from Monza to the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide this vehicle conquered all and now in the this historic event of Adelaide it will reign supreme.
Italian imported Driver B. Griguol will pilot this exciting machine and local expert in the hills of Adelaide Simon Fitzpatrick of Team Renault is the navigator. Team Director is Ash Simmonds of FIAT project "X", his experience in high speed (drinking VB quickly) events (Alice Springs to Ayres Rock sprint) is paramount to the running of this event. John Moretti of Qld will be administering the scent of a woman technique in his flatulent state. Peter Pless (aka oil leaks) will be on hand to ensure there are no leaks in the 360, his experience with the 355 Challenge and subsequent oil issues are important to a free running machine. Roman Polanski (Vic) is the legal wiz behind the operation, his knowledge in oil baron law is invaluable. Warren Waz Edwards (stirling moss) is the coordinator of all crew and his management skills will be put to the test when John (barge arse) Moretti starts to fart. From the west we have employed Mike (blunt) Spillane Sharpe, he will be in charge of the transponder unit and usb link to the commodore 64 that we will use instead of the mandatory SD2 from Ferrari. We are experimenting with mechanics and as yet have not found a suitable one, some have been mentioned but unfortunately their extra baggage and luggage plus their inattention to detail with oil leaks is not something the team is looking for.
