You can always find something interesting to do in Adelaide, but in with the start of the fringe festival it’s hard to decide which events to go to.

Handmade in Adelaide Design Market – February 10th and 11th Cost: Free entry Support South Australian businesses and artists. Live music, local bakers, and food trucks will make the day a great outing for the family.

RnB Vine Days Adelaide 2018 – February 11th

Cost: $119.90

A day filled with South Australian Wine and live RnB performances by Boyz II men, TLC, and Shaggy at Leconfield Wines. Its an all ages event and for those taking cars there is plenty of parking for a gold coin donation. Although you could stay up in the region and stay for the weekend.

Fringe opening night street party – February 16th

Cost: Free

Celebrate the opening of the Fringe on North Terrace. Over sixty artists will be entertaining the crowds on one of the six performance areas or as roaming performers and there will be plenty of food, drink, and market stalls.

Parade of Light – Febuary 16th till Marh 17th

Cost: Free

This event is a collection of light shows that will take place along North Terrace starting at 8:30pm each night of the Fringe. Head the lawns in front of the Museum to see the Aurora Borealis projected onto the building. Or see the State Library of south Australia become a canvas to show the Karuna family clan customs. Elder Hall will be filled with light and music.

Dragon boat battles – February 17th Cost: free to watch Spend the weekend on the beach at Wallaroo to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The dragon boats feature regional teams including Ceduna and Kangaroo Island. You can get a villa by the beach or use the caravan park, it’s a great weekend away with the family.

High Tea Walking Tour – February 24th

Cost: $65

Explore the old East End Markets, try delicious food, and learn the history behind high tea in Australia. You’ll visit a variety of venues with both sweet and savory nibbles. It’s a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
