As the weather heats up in Adelaide, there are some great events to get out to this November.

SAM Awards – 8th November

Tickets: available from Moshtix from 16th August

A stand out fixture on the UNESCO Adelaide City of Music’s calendar of events, the SAM Awards exist to recognise, promote and celebrate excellence in the South Australian contemporary music industry. With past winners including Tkay Maidza and A.B. Original, will 2018 be the year for Triple J favourites West Thebarton? The gala ceremony is an open access event, with tickets on sale to the general public.

Mitsubishi Motors Australian International Three Day Event – 15th to 18th November

Cost: adult day passes start at $25

Location: Adelaide East Parklands

Location: Adelaide Town Hall

The Australian International Three Day Event is the country’s premier equestrian contest, attracting the world’s best horses and riders who compete for prize-money totalling more than $150,000. Events include cross-country, dressage and show jumping, with a free Twilight Equestrian Gala Evening on the Friday night.

2018 Lifesaving World Championships – 16th November to 2nd December

Location: Glenelg Beach and other locations

2018 Lifesaving World Championships
Held every two years the ILS Lifesaving World Championships will be hosted in Adelaide from 16th November at various locations, with most events taking place at Glenelg. Showcasing excellence in lifesaving sports and rescue, athletes come from around the globe to compete for the title of world’s best.
